Exceptions to the exchange and refund policy.
Exchange and refund policies do not apply to all paintings. These are exceptions to our standard return policies and guidelines for returning products:
- The refund policy does not apply to Custom Paintings, but the exchange policy does.
- The refund policy does not apply to large paintings (with a dimension greater than 1 (one) meter on either side), but the exchange policy does apply.
- The return and refund policy does not apply to situations in which the customer is not satisfied with the colors of a painting in relation to the photographs displayed on our website at kuadros.com. Although our artists make the best effort to reproduce the original range of colors, the nature of the copies of a painting usually involve slight changes in the shades and nuances.
- No returns will be accepted and no refunds will be made in the event of alteration or damage to the original product by the customer.
Shipping cost for returned paintings
The cost of returning a painting is covered entirely by the customer and is not refundable, except in the case that the painting arrives defective from the factory, damaged during transport, is a painting that does not correspond to the initial order and has not been altered or tampered with maliciously by the customer.
How to return a painting and request an exchange or refund
When packaging and shipping the product for refund or exchange, please follow the guidelines below to process your return in a timely manner.
After receiving the returned paint in our central shop, our dispatch professionals will inspect the product (usually within 72 hours of receipt). If the returned product applies to the return policy we will proceed to initiate the exchange or refund according to your request. In the case of a refund, your credit card or original payment method will be credited within 7 business days.
Please note that the money may be deposited into your account within 3 to 10 business days after the transaction is initiated. This is not an error on our part, it all depends on your credit card company and financial intermediaries.
Refunds for promotional items
If, at the time of your return, the paintings are on clearance, they will be refunded at the rate of the purchase price.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the returned product does not meet the criteria mentioned in this policy, we will explain the reasons why we do not offer any refund or exchange.
In this case we will return the same product to you without any exchange. If, at our sole discretion, we decide to accept an ineligible painting for return, we reserve the right to charge up to 50% restocking fee.
Our policy on Warranties, returns and refunds are based on good faith between the buyer and our company. Kuadros reserves the right to refuse any return or refund, when there is suspicion of fraud or malicious damage to our paintings.
