Hieronymus Bosch's painting St Christopher is a Flemish Renaissance masterpiece that has captivated art lovers for centuries. This work was created in the fifteenth century and is currently in the Prado Museum in Madrid.
Bosch's artistic style is characterized by the depiction of fantastic creatures and surreal scenes. At St Christopher, some of these elements can be seen, such as the figure of the giant on the river bank, who seems to be waiting for the saint to cross the water.

For example, it is believed that the figure of Saint Christopher was inspired by Hieronymus Bosch himself, since a very similar figure has been found in another of his paintings.
