Return and refund policy, 100% satisfaction or we return your money
Exceptions to the exchange and refund policy.
Exchange and refund policies do not apply to all paintings. These are the exceptions to our standard return policies and the guidelines for returning products:
- The refund policy does not apply to Custom Paintings, but the exchange policy does.
- The refund policy does not apply to large paintings (with a dimension greater than 1 (one) meter on any side), but the exchange policy does.
- The return or refund policy does not apply in situations where the customer is not satisfied with the colors of a painting in relation to the photographs displayed on our website at kuadros.com. Even when our artists make the best effort to reproduce the original color range, the very nature of reproductions of a painting often involves slight changes in tones and shades.
- No returns will be accepted nor will any refund be made in cases where alteration or damage to the original product by the customer is verified.
Shipping costs for returned paintings
The return shipping costs for a painting are entirely covered by the customer and are non-refundable, except in cases where the painting arrives defective from the factory, damaged during transportation, or is a painting that does not match the original order and has not been altered or maliciously handled by the customer.
How to return a painting and request an exchange or refund
When you pack and send the product for your refund or exchange, please follow the guidelines mentioned below to process your return in a timely manner.
After receiving the returned painting at our central workshop, our dispatch professionals will inspect the product (generally within 72 hours of receipt). If the returned product complies with the return policy, we will proceed to initiate the exchange or refund according to your request. In the case of a refund, it will be credited to your credit card or original payment method within the next 7 business days.
Please note that the money may be deposited into your account 3 to 10 business days after the transaction is initiated. This is not an error on our part; it all depends on your credit card company and financial intermediaries.
Refunds for promotional items
If, at the time of your return, the paintings are on sale, they will be refunded at the purchase price rate.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the returned product does not meet the criteria mentioned in this policy, we will explain to you the reasons why we do not offer any refund or exchange.
In this case, we will return the same product without any change. If, at our sole discretion, we decide to accept a painting that is ineligible for return, we reserve the right to charge up to 50% as a restocking fee.
Our warranty, return, and refund policy is based on good faith between the buyer and our company. Kuadros reserves the right to refuse any return or refund when there is suspicion of fraud or malicious damage to our paintings.
