The painting presents an abstract composition dominated by an ochre-yellow field, across which a constellation of black, green, red, orange and brown forms unfolds. At the center, a large dark red oval, encircled by a black structure, concentrates the gaze and functions as the visual nucleus. Around it, angular planes and organic masses intersect, while a very dark vertical green form occupies the left side. In the upper right appear two schematic human figures, reduced to oval heads and rectangular bodies. Along the lower edge, a sinuous red-and-black line establishes a rhythmic base alongside diagonal bands, circles and a large rounded form partially cut by the crop.
The title Indian Summer alludes poetically to the brief autumnal interval of warm, luminous weather known by that name, especially in North America. The work does not present a descriptive landscape; it transforms that seasonal reference into an experience of color, tension and movement. The ochre-yellow and the concentration of reds, oranges and browns evoke a warm light and autumnal vitality, while the human figures introduce a minimal scale within an abstract field that seems to extend beyond its own borders.
The large central red oval serves as the focal point of chromatic intensity and organizes the shapes clustered around it. Diagonals cut across the upper and lateral zones, energizing the surface and preventing the central oval from becoming isolated. At the same time, the vertical forms on the left and the upper figures balance the horizontal movement of the lower band. The eye moves from the red core to the dark masses, descends along the diagonals and ends by following the undulation that runs along the base. The combination of firm contours, color fields and rounded profiles creates a visual rhythm between the geometric and the organic.

Indian Summer turns a seasonal idea into an intense construction of signs, planes and chromatic pulses.
