Description
Jacob Cornelisz Van Oostsanen's Triptych of the Adoration of the Magi is a masterpiece of 16th-century painting that combines the technique of the Italian Renaissance with the tradition of Flemish art. This painting is made up of three panels, which together form an image of the Adoration of the Magi.
The composition of the painting is impressive, with a wealth of details and elements that intertwine to create a complex and vibrant scene. In the central panel, the Magi are seen kneeling before the Child Jesus, while in the side panels Saints Peter and Paul are represented, as well as the donors of the work.
