One of the lesser known aspects of the work is its original size. The painting measures 100 x 97 cm, making it a relatively small work compared to other Renaissance masterpieces. However, this does not diminish its visual and emotional impact. The work is a showcase of Michael Pacher's talent and skill as an artist, and is one of the most important works of the late Renaissance in Austria.
