Camille Pissarro’s 1855 painting “Mountain Landscape in Saint Thomas - Antilles (Unfinished)” presents an interesting approach to the Caribbean landscape that, despite not having been completed, already reveals the distinctive style that Pissarro would develop throughout his career.
