Description
The five shrewd virgins cautiously carry oil with them to refill their lamps as they seek the way to Christ. The lamps as a symbol of faith must be filled with the "oil of good works". Cornelius was one of the first Nazarenes to adopt this metaphor for charity and the Christian way of life.
