Description
Murillo's paintings that are preserved in the Museum of Cádiz all come from the Capuchin Convent. It is a work of ancient devotion, very famous in the city, in which the closeness of the artist to popular religious perception is perfectly reflected. It has been suggested that this is an early copy, or was completed by some follower who worked in cappuccinos with the master.
