Warmth of feeling, tenderness of expression, and a painterly approach (as opposed to a cartoonist) are common in the work of both artists. This is particularly evident in Barocci's numerous paintings on the theme of the Virgin; two of the most famous are the Madonna del Popolo (1579) and the exquisitely beautiful Nativity. Barocci was unusual in the Mannerist period for his numerous and extremely sensitive life drawings. His distinctive use of color is of central Italian origin: pale, fugitive colors mixed primarily with vermilion pinks, mother-of-pearl whites, and grays.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Federico Barocci","offers":[{"title":"35x27","offer_id":44941279232281,"sku":"la-nativid116","price":154000.0,"currency_code":"CLP","in_stock":true},{"title":"70x55","offer_id":44941279265049,"sku":"la-nativid224","price":297300.0,"currency_code":"CLP","in_stock":true},{"title":"136x109 Original size","offer_id":44941279297817,"sku":"la-nativid337","price":447300.0,"currency_code":"CLP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0278\/9628\/3224\/files\/pintura-La-Natividad-KUADROS.jpg?v=1683784522","url":"https:\/\/kuadros.com\/en-cl\/products\/the-nativity-2","provider":"KUADROS","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
